March 15, 2010 Setaram Calorimeter Set for Blast-Off!Setaram is proud to announce that one of its Calvet Calorimeters has been prepared and cleared for launch for a series of experiments on the International Space Station as part of the FASES (Fundamental and Applied Studies of Emulsion Stability) program. The FASES program will use micro-gravity to study emulsion stabilities, and as well therefore the demands of putting a calorimeter in space are significant. The system needs to be robust, but also light weight and also flexible enough to measure small interactions and be able to measure heterogeneous samples, such as oil emulsion...
